The Great Gatsby Film

After reading the book I decided to watch the film to get some visual ideas. These pictures are some that I put in a folder to refer to but I have uploaded them as I have looked back to them when thinking about my designs and beginning my templates.

The Great Gatsby

As soon as we were given the brief for this project and the list of films to pick from I looked each of them up to find out a little more about them. I decided on The Great Gatsby as it jumped out at me as being the sort of film and story I would enjoy. I love the fashions of the 1920's as well as the hair and makeup. I have looked into this era before and so I thought by picking this story I could research even further.

I also read up on each of the characters before picking Myrtle Wilson as the one I would create in my photoshoots for this project. She is one of the main characters and seemed to have an interesting place in the story in the situations she is in. 

I bought the dvd as well as the book and watched/read both so I could see the way the story may be slightly different but I was able to know the storyline and my character well.
